Commentary In Pursuance Of Books The Goddess Hunt (Goddess Test #1.5)
A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades' wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn....Rating Containing Books The Goddess Hunt (Goddess Test #1.5)

What is it with all the "1.5" books?! Seriously! Is it a requirement now for series?I really love this series, but I feel like I'm starting to see the holes in Aimee Carter's "debut writing". I just don't see the progression of her writing. I feel as if there is a depth that is lacking that should be starting to emerge. The character's motives seem to change a lot between the books. I think that the first two books (The Goddess Test and this one), you can seem who Henry is as a character, but in Goddess Interrupted, it is completely different. I'm not sure why so much change is
Just remembered that I've read ( skimmed ) this book.
Is it just me who thinks this cover is creepy and staring at the girl's face makes you feel weird? o.O
***Warning! MAJOR spoilers for The Goddess Test***After (barely) passing the tests to gain Immortality, Kate, who is now married to Henry, must leave Eden for six months as a promise to her mother. She decides to go on a trip to Greece and takes her friend James with her, who is really one of the Gods, Hermes. Told in Kate and Henrys alternating POVs, they must each deal with the new changes in their lives. Kate must deal with what it means to be immortal and she learns her new family is not who
I saw this book in the e-library and remembering reading the first book, so I checked it out.I forgot how BAD this series is. (I didn't remember hating the first book as much.) The writing is amazingly bad. The dialogue is so bad you want to read it out loud and laugh at it. The plot, everything is ridiculous. Fight scenes out of nowhere, out of character gods. Just stupidity. So this wins one of my worst books spots.Don't waste your time or braincells.
In 'The Goddess Hunt' this book tells us what happens during James and Kate's trip to Greece. I love how action packed this book was and also how strong Kate was. She stood up to Zeus (spoiler alert for those who didn't read this yet!) and she also focused on what she believed is right. She didn't waver or give into Zeus's threats, and her feelings for Henry also didn't waver. She knew she had a choice if she ever wanted to back out being The Queen of Underworld, but she stood her ground. The
