"The Kite Runner" reminded me of a very important and critical point that we all must pay attention to:We must not let envy and jealousy feelings to control our deeds and take us to the non-returning point. The Islamic religion has taught me that the first sin Satan had committed was getting jealous of our father Adam in paradise because God created him from fire while created Adam from soil. But, what started as a jealously at the first place turned out later to be a hatred from the Satan whichI don't understand why anyone (much less the hundreds who have already rated this) would read the movie script instead of the book itself. I ordered this after reading the original book and seeing the movie, assuming it would have some insight into the film, what went into the filming process - basically that it would deepen my appreciation for the film. No. There's about 10 pages of introduction, from which I learned that the film had been shot in western China, and the rest was just the

The book, The Kite Runner was one of the best novels I have ever read in my life. Once I grabbed the book in my hand, I sat for hours and read. The novel begins with the recount of the relationship between Amir, who is a son of rich family and Hassan, son of servant in the house. They spend their childhood together and are best friends in someway, but their relationship is intricate, since Hassan is Amir's servant. Amir's father, Baba likes both Amir and Hassan, but is harsh to Amir sometimes
A story about faith, hope, courage, loyalty, love, secrets, war, peace, and most of all friendship & brotherhood. I loved every chapter of it. The tragedy, the little things in it made me thirsty for more. And my favorite quote is "for you a thousand times over."My favorite character's Hassan needless to say, and Amir wasn't bad after all. The author's way of telling the story was perfect, a must read book.
In my own way I believe that major events in one's life help form or contribute to who we are today whether it is good or bad. While reading " The Kite Runner", in the first chapter it says " I became what I am today at the age of twelve, on a frigid overcast day in winter of 1975" ( pg 1). When reading this it explains that a very important moment whether good or bad formed him into who he is today. In chapter one his old friend Rahim Khan called and asked him to come see him, when the call was
